Accessibility

Our classes are conducted in spoken English with audiovisual materials such as slides, code examples and video. Online classes will be held over Zoom. Please contact us with special accessibility requests. If you have any questions regarding the class, please email us at info@sfpc.io.

Covid-19 Safety & Precautions

Proof of vaccination dated before July 10th is required to participate in this class. It is important for this session that we all keep each other safe when we meet. If you are not vaccinated, please join one of our summer online classes.

We will not require participants to wear masks during class, but you are welcome to wear one if you choose.

How do I apply?

Applications are closed. We will be accepting up to 18 students on a rolling basis. Rolling admissions means there are fewer slots the longer you wait, so if you’re interested in the program, get your application in early!

How much does it cost to attend?

Tuition includes payment processing fees for five weekly classes. Upon payment, your space in the session will be reserved. Scholarships are available for those who cannot pay full tuition.

I can’t pay for SFPC. Can I come at a reduced rate, or for free?

If you can’t pay full tuition, please apply. We offer up to 4 subsidized positions in all our classes and have started a scholarship fund.

How can I help others to attend SFPC?

If you have the financial privilege to do so, please donate generously. This will help ensure that no one is rejected because of their inability to pay.

What if I can’t go, can I get a refund?

  • Yes, we can give you 100% refund up to 10 days before the session starts.
  • 50% refund after 10 days, until the first day of the session.
  • No refunds after the first day of the session.

The School for Poetic Computation is changing. This summer, we invite you into our collective studies as we work towards an experimental curriculum that can grow and transform over time. We will learn to unlearn with others in order to change the conditions of learning itself. We are making new schooling formations that facilitate the oscillation between teacher and student.
