Hermann Zschiegner

(he/him/his) · I am the principal and Creative Director at TWO-N, a New York-based data visualization design agency. I also keep an Artist practice, focusing on conceptual photography and Artist Books. My work has been shown at the 2011 Rencontres d’Arles in the group show FROM HERE ON, as well as at the FoMu in Antwerp and the Centre d’Art Santa Mònica, Barcelona. In 2012 my books were part of the ABC/POD show at Printed Matter, New York and the DIY: Photographers & Books exhibition at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Together with artist Jeff Brouws and Wendy Burton, I published Various Small Books (MIT Press, 2013), a book about books about books made in homage or referencing the Artist Books of Ed Ruscha. I am a founding member of the ABC Artists’ Books Cooperative. I live with my wife and daughter in Brooklyn.

(i don't have any pronouns) · Born in 1980, Hokkaido, Japan. MFA at Tokyo University of the Arts. After working as an interior designer and front-end engineer, Freelance web engineer since 2021. Currently active as technical support to artists.

Jenna Murphy

(she/her) · With a BFA in Intaglio Printmaking and an MA in Graphic and Web Design, Jenna Murphy's visual project @velvetblackpixel aims to explore intaglio tactile qualities through computational sketches. These studies aim to push the boundaries of what a contemporary drawing can be, with hopes to blur the lines between the constructs of Fine and Digital arts.

Joanne Magbitang

(she/her) · "Joyfully subverting the status quo," dubbed by May-Li Khoe, is my favorite way to learn and find meaning in all my endeavors — as a designer, engineer, and florist. To joyfully subvert the status quo requires being cognizant of the status quo: thoughtful of the relationships, behaviors, and culture ingrained in every piece of context. Reflecting, and knowing what to respect from the past and present in order to create an intentional future. When learning, I feel the most connected when I am deep into information and feelings, wrangling a mess into a new voice solidified through media — words, math, PCBs, pixels, flowers. I like to absorb many different forms of transmission, and conversations with people are the ones I find the most worthwhile.

Kate Yourke

(i use she / her) · Kate has been offering hands-on experiences in diverse educational settings for over 30 years, collaborating with teachers, psychologists, and occupational, physical, and speech/language therapists to design meaningful hands-on engagement for diverse learners.

Ladan Bahmani

(she/her/hers) · Ladan Bahmani is a designer, researcher, and educator. She started teaching at Illinois State University in 2017 after earning her MFA in Graphic Design from Michigan State University. Bahmani’s research is on the concept of translation and language in the context of visual communication.

Lillian-Yvonne Bertram

(they/them) · Lillian-Yvonne Bertram is the creator of the books Travesty Generator, How Narrow My Escapes, and Personal Science. They teach poetry and creative computation to writers in the MFA program at UMass Boston.

Matthis Grunsky

(he/him) · Matthis is a visual artist and educator currently residing on Treaty One territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He creates system-based artworks through experimental processes of computer programming, hardware hacking, and electronic prototyping.

Mauricio Román

(we/us/they/them) · Media artist, with an interest in new media, poetical computing, and creative code.

Maya Charles

(she/her) · Maya Charles is a New York-based artist who releases music under the name Embaci. She works primarily with sound, video, and programming.
